Dave’s experiences entitle work in the areas of orthopedic clinical
rehabilitation, and professional sports. He has had the opportunity to work
with the Detroit Vipers Hockey club of the IHL, Tampa Bay Lightning and
Florida Panthers of the NHL, he has also worked with the Detroit Pistons of
the NBA. With these organization. Dave’s held various roles as an Athletic
Trainer or Strength and Conditioning Coach, Sometimes both. As a 1990
Graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Dave holds a Bachelor of Sciences
in Sports Medicine, with emphasis on Athletic training. A masters of Science in Sports Psychology In addition, he is also certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Meanwhile
he holds an additional certification using Graston, an instrument-assisted soft
tissue mobilization technique (IASTM). He has a wealth of hands on experiences in treating
Sports related injuries and understanding the mechanics of movement in
one’s sport to decreased potential of injuries. He recently received additional
certification in human movement and human performance specialist.
Bo’s experience consists of many years in the orthopedic rehabilitation setting. He is a graduate of
Central Michigan University where he worked as an Athletic Trainer, caring for multiple sports teams.
His duties included areas of rehabilitation and sports preparation for both the team and individual
athlete. From there Bo continued his education into the Field of Physical Therapy, earning his Bachelor
of Science in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation From Physical Therapy school he was a major
contributor in pre-game preparation and testing for the Professional Golfers Association in conjunction
with Physiotherapy Associates’ Strengthen your game program. Bo has spent years consulting with his
local youth baseball teams on conditioning and injury prevention. Bo has 30 years of experience in the
sports medicine field and we are excited to have him as part of Exercise Innovation.
Rich Campbell is a certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning coach with a master’s in sports science. Rich has an extensive background in the sport of hockey, spending 10 years in the National Hockey League as the head athletic trainer for the New York islander’s hockey club. Rich currently occupies dual roles of the athletic trainer and head strength and conditioning coach for the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Professional Hockey league. Previous to his integration into the hockey profession Rich spent the beginning of his formative years in the sports medicine profession working as an athletic trainer and strength coach for adolescent athletes in injury prevention and sports performance.
